Ebay is a gigantic marketplace where millions and millions of buyers and sellers from all over the world come together to buy or sell something. A shopper can surely find what they want on ebay and at the same time get it at a bargain price. A seller on the other hand can save a lot of cost just by selling their items on ebay.

If you are interested in making money on ebay successfully, this article will be of great help to you. If you are considering on whether to start selling on ebay, I urge you to stop considering and start selling. Because there is money to be made with ebay!

So coming back to the question, How to successfully make money on ebay?

It is not as easy as getting your products cheap and listing it on ebay at a higher price for profits! There are of course many other factors to consider. I assume you already know how to list items on ebay.

Here are a couple of questions to yourself when you’re deciding to list an item for sale on ebay:

1. Are you sure the product is hot and popular?

Hot products matter most when you’re trying to make money from ebay. When the product is popular, there will be a lot of interested buyers looking for it on ebay. This also means more business for you.

Finding popular products can be as easy launching your web browser to Ebay pulse. Just type in Ebay pulse into your favorite search engine, hit enter and you will be able to see the links to Ebay pulse. At Ebay pulse, you will be able to find hot products in various categories that are selling well on ebay.

Once you have decided to sell a hot or popular item, the next thing you will need to do is look at the price variation in the ebay market place. Just to get a rough idea of how much interested buyers are willing to pay for that particular item. Also, start looking for suppliers and distributors of that item.

To find suppliers and distributors for that particular item seems easy because all you have to do is type in “Product name suppliers”, “Product name wholesalers”, “Product name drop shippers”, and so on in your favorite search engine. But the truth is, it is not all that easy to find the right supplier! When you are looking for the right supplier, here is another question to ask your self!

2. Are you sure you are getting the lowest price for that product?

Getting the lowest price of that product you are interested in selling on ebay is important because the difference between the supplier’s price and the market price on ebay is your profits!

How to get the supplier to quote you the lowest possible price for the item you’re interested in? Here’s how the trend works! The higher the quantity of the order, the cheaper it gets per unit. Almost everyone knows this! However, please beware that there is a certain trick to get suppliers to reveal the lowest possible cost per unit for that item. What you need to do is, ask how much the item cost per unit first.

Once you have got a response quote, tell him or her that you need it cheaper please! The person you are talking to will most likely respond by saying how many units would you like to order? This is when you respond with a made up figure like 10 units per week or something around there. The supplier will then give you a lower quote of the item per unit. As soon as you get the lowest unit price from the supplier, I urge you to check with other suppliers dealing with that same item as well. You will be surprise at how cheap you can get the product for.

After comparing the price given by a few suppliers for that particular product you are interested in selling on ebay, choose the one who is giving you the lowest price per unit.

Now go back to the ebay market place, search for that particular product you are interested in listing on ebay and get the difference between the market price and the price you are getting from your potential supplier. That difference will be your profits! If you are happy with that figure, contact that supplier and start making arrangements before listing that product on ebay! Just remember, when you are making arrangements with the supplier, do not let the person know how you are selling the product and at what price you are selling it for.

If you are going to sell on eBay, that means you are going to be dealing with customers all over the world. Just like a regular business, you will occasionally run across a customer that is very hard to deal with. 90% of all the customers you will have on eBay are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Its that 10% that can drive you completely crazy, if you let them. It is how you deal with that 10% of troublesome customers that really shows what kind of business person you are. Sometimes these difficult customers can turn into your best customers.

Probably the most common problem with buyers on eBay is failure to pay for an item. On eBay, when you bid on an item or “Buy It Now” you are responsible to pay for that item. That isn’t always the case. When you do try and get payments from a slow-paying member, remember to remain professional at all times. eBay products like Selling Manager Pro send automated payment reminders and usually get the job done. After a certain amount of time, if payment isn’t sent by the buyer you can follow eBay’s procedure to get a credit on your lost fees and will put an unpaid item strike against the non paying member’s account.

There will always be a number of your customers that won’t be happy with the actual item they bought from you. Just as in life, you can’t make everyone happy. Make your refund policy perfectly clear in your auction descriptions and stick to it. It is much easier to click 3 buttons in PayPal to issue a refund than fight to remove a negative feedback from your account. The first thing to do is say you are sorry when a customer isn’t happy with their item from you. Then offer to do whatever it takes to make it right, including an alternate item or free gift. At that time, offer a refund and issue it if requested.

The speed that an eBay buyer gets the item remains a concern, as well. Do the absolute most you can to get an item out fast. If you are sending items from your home or business, don’t wait to send them once a week. Make a trip to the post office every day you have a sale. If you sell through a dropshipping company with your eBay listings, do whatever you can to ensure speedy delivery. Some dropshipping facilities are located in foriegn countries, meaning it will take quite a while for shipment. If you do have lengthy shipment times because of your dropshipping supplier, explain that fully inside your auction description. Sometimes there is just nothing you can do about shipping complaints. I sell eBooks on eBay. eBooks are delivered instantly through a download link in eBay. It is not uncommon for me to get complaints by customers of not getting their item, when the download is sitting in their eBay account. I am sure that sellers with other types of goods have other problems related to their specific products.

Remember to always guard your feedback rating on eBay. It is the way that customers see you and decide to buy from you or not. Also, in the eBay PowerSeller program, your feedback ratings can lead to fee discounts.

Just like in the real world, there are tough customers to deal with on eBay. Some people are just that way. It is how you deal with these tough customers that makes or breaks you as a seller on eBay. Remember to remain professional at all times and you will be able to deal with almost all the problems that come up while selling on eBay.

Ebay Misspelt Words

Filed Under Ebay Report | Comments Off

Ebay is perhaps the world’s most widely recognized market place with millions of items being displayed for sale on any given day. These items are in thousands of categories and can be found around the world, with eBay U.S., eBay Canada, eBay United Kingdom and eBay Australia listing items available for sale.

Have you ever wished you could be the only person bidding on some particular item so that you could control the price more readily? If your opening bid was the only bid, don’t you think you’d be able to find some bargains on eBay? Well, this exact scenario can happen if you learn how to tap into eBay misspelt words in order to find and be the only person bidding on a particular item.

There is no question that there are many eBay misspelt items. For example, if one wanted to purchase Jaguar automobile parts on eBay, a standard search conducted either on eBay or on the internet would bring results numbering over 7600 items. This may be where you can find the part you need, but what would happen if you were looking for a new Jaguar XJ6 Control Arm Ball Joint Bushing Kit? It wouldn’t show up as an item in eBay, because it’s actually listed as a ‘new Jagaur XJ6 Control Arm Ball Joint Bushing Kit.’

eBay misspelt words can show up for any number of reasons, including carelessness on the part of the seller in describing and listing the item, lack of knowledge about how an item should be spelled, and sometimes the fact that there is more than one accepted spelling for a word. Unfortunately for the seller, the eBay misspelt words in the item listing probably means no sale and wasted listing fees plus time spent in preparing and entering the listing.

If you know about BargainChecker http://www.bargainchecker.com you can use eBay misspelt words to make money. Instead of doing a standard eBay or web search, enter your search term into the tool at BargainChecker instead. BargainChecker will return a list of items where the word which you entered into the search box was spelled incorrectly. From this point, what you do is up to you. For instance, you can find the bargains among the eBay misspelt words and place a low opening bid on the item. Unless some other bidder stumbles across the same item and bids on it, you’ve won the bid.

You now own an item which is heavily discounted even below the typical eBay prices. You can enjoy your new possession, give it to someone as a lovely yet inexpensive gift, or turn around and resell the item at a profit.

You can also use BargainChecker to determine common misspellings of search terms so that you can take advantage of misspellings in Pay per click campaigns. For example, if you could capture sales revenue from people who searched for a “bargin” instead of a “bargain” you might find yourself with a tidy little income, just on that phrase alone.

Of course, not every misspelled eBay item listing is going to result in bargain basement prices, but it certainly happens often enough that you can take advantage of the poor spellers in order to gain income.

BargainChecker is a free tool which is linked to eBay. You can use it to generate income and won’t have to pay a penny to anyone for using it. BargainChecker is easy to use. You can use its features even if you can’t spell the word correctly. Why not begin taking advantage of its features today to find a one-of-a-kind bargain and transform the bargain into real revenue .
